Situated on the shoreline at Sinclair Bay on the northernmost tip of Scotland – Our Luxury Highland Castle is one of the most romantic settings in the entire British Isles.


This iconic property will present a luxurious selection of guest rooms & suites, a traditional restaurant, a lounge for afternoon tea plus even our own onsite pub serving local favourites!

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised Maintenance Manager to join our team in Wick.

What will I be responsible for?


Joining our team as Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for being the heart of our maintenance department in our establishment. You will be responsible for:


  • To manage members of the maintenance team and delegate instruction regarding any new and outstanding repairs to lodges across the resort.
  • Delegate work schedules within the maintenance team.
  • Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements.
  • Ordering materials and submitting purchase orders.
  • Assist In the development of the maintenance team and ensure all work carried out is to the company’s standards.


Who are we looking for?


To be successful as our Maintenance Manager, previous experience with plumbing, carpentry and general repairs is essential.


  • Must be a hands-on manager who has excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own work load together with organising team schedules.
  • Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Should have good communication skills.
  • Previous experience of people management is essential.
  • Must be able to take control in difficult situations.
  • Experience with ordering and dealing with suppliers is essential.
  • Must be well organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload effectively.
